San Diego Zoo

Located in beautiful Balboa Park, the 100-acre San Diego Zoo is one of the largest and most progressive zoos in the world. With more than 4,000 animals of 800 different species, as well as a plant collection of more than 6,500 species, the San Diego Zoo is acknowledged as one of the finest. It features a children's petting zoo, live animal shows and picnic area. The renowned Panda Exhibit is on loan from China.*

Getting There

Take the Pacific Surfliner to the San Diego station. From there, walk 0.3 miles east to State Street and B Street. Take San Diego Transit bus 7 (69th and University via University Avenue) to Park Boulevard and Zoo Place. Walk 0.1 miles to the zoo.
