San Diego Zoo
Located in beautiful Balboa Park, the 100-acre San Diego Zoo is one of the largest and most progressive zoos in the world. With more than 4,000 animals of 800 different species, as well as a plant collection of more than 6,500 species, the San Diego Zoo is acknowledged as one of the finest. Getting There
Take the Pacific Surfliner to the San Diego station. From there, walk 0.3 miles east to State Street and B Street. Take San Diego Transit bus 7 (69th and University via University Avenue) to Park Boulevard and Zoo Place. Walk 0.1 miles to the zoo.
