Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk
Founded in 1907, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the oldest surviving seaside amusement park on the West Coast and was voted "World's Best Seaside Amusement Park."

Once you arrive at the San Jose station you'll transfer to Amtrak Thruway Bus Route 35 (San Jose – Santa Cruz) which will take you to the Santa Cruz Metro Center located at 920 Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz.
From the Metro Center, you can take local public transit via the Santa Cruz Metro Bus directly to the Boardwalk (about a 5 minute bus ride). Several bus routes serve the Metro Center and the Boardwalk. Route 7 operates Monday through Friday, while Routes 19 and 20 operate seven days a week. For the more adventurous, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is a short 1/2 mile walk (about 15 minutes) from the Santa Cruz Metro Center.
