Yosemite National Park

For your convenience, Amtrak Thruway Bus Route 15 (Merced – Yosemite National Park) stops at several locations throughout the park:

Yosemite - Curry Village (YCC)
Yosemite - Ahwahnee Hotel (YOA)
Yosemite - Visitor's Center (YOV)
Yosemite - Yosemite Lodge (YOS)

Getting There

Once you arrive at the Merced Station, you’ll to transfer to Amtrak Thruway Bus (Route 15), which takes you directly to Yosemite Valley. This route is serviced by the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System (YARTS).  YARTS operates both shuttle vans and luxury motorcoaches.  Best of all - when purchasing Amtrak tickets to Yosemite, the (shuttle) bus ride and admission to the park are included

You may also purchase tickets from Merced to Yosemite directly from YARTS which includes a (shuttle) bus ride to the park and park admission.  A segment of train travel is not required.
