Modern, sleek, efficient, progressive ...

These are just a few of the words we heard when testing the new Spring 2011 Amtrak California campaign in focus groups.

Using the eye of acclaimed photographer, Christopher Griffith, the train is captured at interesting angles that communicate strength and speed. This unique photography is paired with a collection of headlines promoting the virtues of train travel over other modes of transportation.  Reintroducing (drum roll, please) Amtrak California in a fresh, new way. 

Icons featured at the bottom of the billboards represent several of the amenities available to passengers traveling on Amtrak California. Designed to magnify the new and more progressive web presence Amtrak California has introduced with AmtrakCalifornia.com, these icons are also the stars of an interactive web component of the new campaign.

AMENITY MATCH GAME
"Amenity Match" is a simple game of memory, which entertains while educating users about the available amenities of Amtrak California. The game features scoring and sharing capabilities that encourage users to keep playing in order to beat their own score or compete with friends!
