Pacific Business Fares
If you'd like a little more class with your Pacific Surfliner coach class tickets, here's an opportunity for you! With an upgrade to Pacific Business Class, you get a reserved coach seat in a separate car (that's important at peak travel times on unreserved trains!), as well as complimentary (non-alcoholic) beverages and newspapers. The upgrade is on top of the regular coach fare, and varies over distance but range from $8 to $15 above the one way charge.
Round trip in Pacific Business Class is twice these charges (i.e. $16 to $30 more than the round trip coach fare.)
