Kids 'n Trains Purchasing Tickets
TICKET PURCHASING OPTIONS
Once you receive a confirmation letter from Amtrak with a Reservation Number, you may purchase your tickets using either of the two options below:
Option 1) You may elect to have your tickets shipped directly to you via FedEx. Tickets sent via FedEx will be charged a $15.00 shipping and handling fee. With this option, you may purchase tickets with a credit card or a PERSONAL check made payable to Amtrak. If you select the pay by credit card via telephone option, call 877-872-2321 Monday-Friday between 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time. For your own protection, do not include credit card information on the Reservation Request form.
If you choose the "personal check" option, please include your Group Name and Reservation Number on the check. Mail your check(s) to:

Please note: If you choose the personal check payment option, please include two checks. One check made payable to Amtrak should be in the amount due for your Group Travel tickets. A separate check made payable to Amtrak should be in the amount of $15.00 to cover shipping and handling. Do not send in your payment until you know that your Reservation Request has been approved and you have received a Reservation Number from Amtrak.
Option 2) As in the past, you may purchase tickets in person at any open Staffed Amtrak Station. Tickets must be purchased within seven days of your travel date(s) or your reservation will be automatically canceled. Be sure to have your Reservation Number handy when purchasing your tickets. At the station, you may purchase tickets using cash, credit card or BUSINESS check made payable to Amtrak. (Personal checks and Purchase Orders are not accepted).

Tickets must be purchased no later than seven days prior to your trip or your reservation will be automatically canceled.
Tickets must be presented on your date of travel and are non-refundable, even if the total number of passengers traveling in your group is less than what you planned for. Please note that once your reservation request has been submitted to Amtrak, no changes in dates, schedules, or number of passengers is allowed. Please do not lose your tickets, as stolen or misplaced tickets will incur a non-refundable $75 replacement fee. Your group will not be allowed to travel without a ticket. You will need to provide a Passenger List (with first and last names) of all those who will be traveling in your group, including leaders and chaperones.
