This Amtrak California Motor Coach stop was added to the route between the North Coast of California and Amtrak's Martinez station for connections to and from San Joaquin and other Amtrak trains. While these Amtrak California motor coaches can not be used for transportation between Benicia and Martinez, Benica Transit does offer that service.
Since Benicia is unstaffed by Amtrak, there are no checked baggage, package express or ticket sales services. The nearest location for those services is Martinez. Passengers boarding at Benicia are expected to have Amtrak tickets with them.
