King City is a stop on Amtrak California motor coach connections linking trains in San Luis Obispo to station stops extending north to San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco.  These motor coaches are available only for Amtrak passengers who are connecting either to Amtrak trains to Southern California (via San Luis Obispo and/or Santa Barbara), or Northern California (via San Jose or Oakland).

King City is unstaffed, thus no tickets or baggage services are available.  Amtrak passengers may purchase tickets for Amtrak service from a travel agent, at a staffed station, over Amtrak's toll free telephone (1-800-USA-RAIL), or online at http://tickets.amtrak.com.
