The Hanford Amtrak Station is a fully staffed station located at the former Santa Fe Railway station. Originally built for the San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley Railroad, it is one of only three of those stations still standing.
Amtrak's San Joaquin trains stop here several times daily. Hanford is also the connecting point for Amtrak Motor Coaches carrying passengers beyond Hanford to both the east to Visalia, and west across the coastal mountains to Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo.
As it IS fully staffed, tickets, checked baggage and package express service is available.
The Hanford Amtrak station is also the home of the Greyhound service in the area (although the agency is no longer open), as well as Kings Area Regional Transit, taxis, and shuttle buses to Lemoore Naval Air Station.
Hanford is one of the busiest stops on the Amtrak San Joaquin route. In terms of ridership, it usually ranks third or second in the Valley.
There is much to see and do in Hanford. Both the Chamber of Commerce and the Visitor and Tourism offices are very active.
Lemoore and Lemoore Naval Air Station are a few miles west of Hanford. Amtrak bus connections stop in Lemoore on their way west to the coast.

DIRECTIONS
From Visalia and Hwy 99: Take Hwy 198 west to Redington exit. Go north two blocks to west 7th St., then left on 7th two blocks to station on right.
From Lemoore and I-5: Take Hwy 198 east to 11th Ave exit, then left on 11th Ave four blocks to West 7th St., then right on 7th two blocks to station on left.
From the North: Hwy 43 south to Hwy 198 west, then follow Visalia directions above.
