Moreno Valley was added to Amtrak California's feeder motor coach system to and from Amtrak trains in Bakersfield which serve the San Joaquin Valley, the Bay Area, and the Sacramento Valley on May 16, 1999. Those same buses serve Hemet and Riverside on their way to/from the San Joaquin Valley.
