Amtrak's Riverside Station is the Metrolink station, 4066 Vine Street (92501). It is unstaffed by Amtrak, and thus, there are no ticket sales, baggage or package express services at Riverside. Since the closing of San Bernardino, the nearest station offering those services is Fullerton or Los Angeles.
The station is primarily a Metrolink station. There is a large parking lot and frequent Metrolink trains Mondays through Fridays. RTA (Riverside Transit Agency) buses use this stop.
Amtrak Motor Coaches to/from Amtrak's San Joaquin trains in Bakersfield serve Riverside several times a day. These buses also stop at San Bernardino and a few other stops on their way to Bakersfield.
This station is also a stop on Amtrak's Southwest Chief which operates one daily round trip between Los Angeles and Chicago via Flagstaff, Topeka, and Kansas City.
Riverside is a large city located only a few miles south of San Bernardino. It is the county seat of Riverside County and the home of a University of California campus.
