Soda Springs is a year 'round stop on Amtrak California Motor Coaches which connect Reno/Sparks to Amtrak San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor trains in Sacramento. The stop is located at the Donner Summit Lodge, just off Interstate 80 at the Castle Peak Exit (95728). These buses also stop in Truckee and Colfax on their route.

This stop is not staffed by Amtrak. Thus, no ticket, baggage or package express services are available here. The nearest stations offer those services are Reno and Sacramento.

Lodge staff should not be expected to be knowledgeable about Amtrak schedules. Consult the infor post out front for scheduled arrival and departure times.  This is a "drop off only" stop eastbound, but a mandatory stop westbound.
