One of the world's busiest general aviation airports, Van Nuys serves the western San Fernando Valley with general aviation, support and business and community activities.  There are more than 100 businesses located on the airport including charter air carriers, airplane customizers, etc.

From 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. the Metro Rapid Rte 761 provides service to the Museum
from Van Nuys Amtrak. The last return trip leaves the Getty at 9:30 p.m. Later
service is provided by special trips on local route 233.

Los Angeles International Airport

Take Metro Rapid Rte 761 to Westwood (UCLA) and transfer to a Culver City Bus #6.  (Separate Fare required)

Bob Hope Burbank Airport

Ride Amtrak or Metrolink trains from Van Nuys one stop east to Burbank Bob Hope Airport Station.

UCLA

Metro Rapid Route 761 now operates between Van Nuys Amtrak and UCLA. The trip takes about 52 - 55 minutes according to the schedules, and as of June 15, 2005, cost $1.25 one way. These buses operate about every twenty minutes beginning just after 5:00 a.m. The last bus to UCLA departs approximately 8:00 p.m. The return trips from UCLA start at 6:00 a.m. , operate on approximately twenty minute headways, and take anywhere from 38 to 55 minutes depending on the time of day.
