Come see the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Exhibition
(this will be it's only appearance on the West Coast)

This historic exhibit will feature:

  • Lincoln's First Inaugural Bible,
(used again in President Barack Obama's inauguration)
  • Rare, original lithograph of the Emancipation Proclamation
  • Lincoln's scrapbook of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate
  • Lincoln's handwritten Farewell Address

is conveniently located in downtown Sacramento just 12 blocks from the Sacramento Valley Train Station. Transit transfers are FREE to Amtrak passengers, and light rail will take you from the train station right to the exhibit. 

Just take the San Joaquin® or Capitol Corridor® train to downtown Sacramento, and ask your conductor for
a FREE transit transfer pass.   Your pass is good for a free ride aboard Sacramento's Light Rail Gold Line
which will take you to Archives Plaza, adjacent to the Museum, located at 1020 O Street.  Northbound
San Joaquin Thruway passengers may get off at the State Capitol (by request), which is an easy one-block walk away from the Museum.
